๐ ABOUT THE ARTIST: THE GIRL BEHIND THE HOOK ๐
This journey has been a rollercoaster, but truly one of the most amazing experiences. Itโs shown me what Iโm capable of and helped me rediscover a part of myself I didnโt even realize I was missing.
I actually started crocheting about 8 years ago, but eventually put the hook down for a while. When I started For the Girlies Crochet, I wanted to build something that would connect me with fellow creatives and give me a space to share my love for making things.
What I didnโt expect was how much I would need it myself. ๐ฅน
After having my son, I struggled with postpartum and felt like I had lost a piece of who I was. I knew I wanted to find myself again and become the best version of me, both for my son and for myself.
So, I picked up my hook and started creating whatever made me happy. And for some reason, that was PURSES! ๐๐
After making my very first bag, I was HOOKED (literally ๐) and couldnโt stop creating. One bag turned into another, and eventually, that little spark grew into For the Girlies Crochet.
This business has become so much more than crochet. Itโs given me a creative outlet, a community, confidence, and a reminder that Iโm capable of so much more than I sometimes give myself credit for.
